Kaziranga National Park in Assam is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. The park is divided into four safari ranges, each offering unique experiences to visitors. Here is a detailed description of each safari range:

KOHORA RANGE OR CENTRAL SAFARI ZONE :
BAGORI RANGE OR WESTERN SAFARI ZONE :

The Bagori Safari Range is located in the western part of the park and can be accessed through the Bagori entrance gate.
WILDLIFE: This range is known for its large population of one-horned rhinoceroses, wild elephants, wild water buffaloes, and swamp deer.
BIRDS: Visitors can also spot various bird species, including the Bengal florican and hornbill.
AGARATOLI RANGE OR EASTERN SAFARI ZONE :

The Agaratoli Safari Range is located in the eastern part of the park and can be accessed through the Agaratoli entrance gate. This range is known for its beautiful landscape, grasslands, and wetlands.
WILDLIFE: They may also see one-horned rhinoceroses, wild elephants, tigers, and swamp deer.
BIRDS: Visitors can spot various bird species, including the Greater Adjutant Stork, Fishing Eagle, and Brahminy Duck.
BURAPAHAR SAFARI ZONE :

The Burapahar Range is located in the western part of the park and can be accessed through the Ghorakati entrance gate. This range is known for its hilly terrain and dense forests.
WILDLIFE: They may also see tigers, wild elephants, hoolock gibbons, and sambar deer.
BIRDS: Visitors can spot various bird species, including the Rufous-necked Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, and White-cheeked Partridge.
MODE OF TRANSPORT & DURATION:
Note that the duration and mode of transport for the safaris may vary depending on the specific package chosen by visitors and the weather conditions. Typically, in all the Safari ranges, visitors can explore the range by jeep or on elephant back. Jeep safaris last for around 1-3 hours, while elephant safaris last for around 1 hour.
SEASONS TO VISIT
It is also important to note that the park remains closed during the monsoon season from June to September.
