Happy April Fool’s Day!

MAJULI IN THREE DAYS

Happy April Fool’s Day!

We hope you enjoyed our Ultimate North East India Trip video.

Our most sincere apologies if you thought this was real, but the idea of covering all seven states in seven days is simply impossible!

In fact, we believe that the North East region of India is so diverse and rich that it cannot be fully explored in one lifetime, let alone one trip. Don’t let anyone ever fool you into believing you can do cover all of it one trip.

Each of the seven states that make up the North East is a world unto itself, with its own unique culture, traditions, and natural wonders. For example, Arunachal Pradesh alone is home to 26 major tribes, each with their own distinct dialect, customs, attire, rituals, and cuisines. To truly appreciate the beauty and complexity of this region, one must take the time to explore each state in-depth, and immerse oneself in its local culture and way of life.

At ChaloHoppo, we are passionate about promoting responsible and sustainable tourism in the North East. We believe that tourism can be a force for good, helping to preserve and showcase the region’s cultural and natural heritage, and supporting local communities and economies. However, we also recognize that tourism can have negative impacts if not done properly, and we are committed to minimizing these impacts through our operations.

Bomdila - A Scenic Destination Along the High Mountain Passes of Arunachal Pradesh

We invite you to join us on a journey of discovery and wonder in the North East of India. Rather than trying to cover all seven states in one trip, we encourage you to focus on one or two states at a time, and to delve deep into their unique charms and treasures. Whether you choose to explore the lush rainforests of Meghalaya, the ancient monasteries of Arunachal Pradesh, or the vibrant markets of Manipur, we guarantee that you will be captivated by the beauty, diversity, and warmth of this region.

Thank you for visiting our website, and we look forward to helping you plan your next adventure in the North East!
